I read an article today called 8 Things No One Tells You About Marriage. I was curious to see what no one was telling me.
A few of the list topics were:
• “You will look at the person lying next to you and wonder, Is this it? Forever?”
• “A great marriage doesn’t mean no conflict.”
• “Getting your way is usually not as important as finding a way to work together.”
To me these ideas seemed rather obvious, like basic marriage fundamentals. Then it occurred to me that I am a seasoned (but by no means perfect )veteran, and there are people who really do need this information. But how and when do we learn these fundamentals? While dating?
