I’m sure most of you are aware of the minor car accident in Windermere Florida involving Tiger Woods recently. It popped up on the local news here (I only live two towns away) seconds after it happened and we were all so worried and our hearts went out to him and his family. It’s all you heard on the TV, poor Tiger, we love him so much, we hope he’s okay. Then the next day the claws came out. Pitch forks and torches were lit by the media nationwide to pry the details of the incident out of the Woods’ home and straight into our lives. Continue reading
Together they are the hunky All-Star quarterback and the world’s biggest supermodel. I suppose it was natural for these two to get together. The cliché tale of the high school quarterback dating the captain of the cheer leading squad definitely translates into the All-Star marrying the supermodel in real life, right?
These two have to be the world’s most stunning couple. They ooze beauty and style. After dating for two years they got married in February of 2009. However, their initial coming together was not without a little gossipy controversy. While the new couple was spending the weekend making out in Paris, Tom’s very recent ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan , confirmed that she was 3 months pregnant. The usually squeaky clean Tom Brady got a tiny wave of bad press from this news. Now Tom and Gisele are expecting their own child together.
Let’s look at some of their previous significant others:
Tom Brady’s include the above mentioned Bridget Moynahan for 3 years, and before that he was rumored to be hanging out with party girl Tara Reid.
Gisele Bundchen’s include Leonardo DiCaprio, surfer Kelly Slater, and Josh Hartnet.
So what kind of chances do I give them? I’m feeling optimistic today, so a strong 65%. At least they stand a better chance than the couple in our first celebrity marriage review.
If you were the bride, you would be:
C. already seeking annulment
D. all of the above
E. updating your status too
Are men and women equal when it comes to flirting? Is it less harmful for a married man to flirt with a single woman, than it is for a married woman to flirt with a single man? I think that the old stereotype of men being suave and women being sluts, when overtly sexual, taints the simplicity of the harmless flirt. Because when women flirt it is often thought that what she is doing is making an advance, or an invitation for sex. But when men flirt its thought of as complimentary or charming. It’s amazing how some things never change when it comes to the difference between men and women. I’d really like to see gender roles take a huge turn and make it okay for women to be more expressive without being labeled.
I think that even wikipedia.org has a very antiquated look at flirting.

“To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you’re getting this down.” – Woody Allen, Love and Death
Today I came across this article on Shine, which referenced a book written by author Carl Weisman called, “Serious Doubts: Why People Marry When They Know It Won’t Last.” He surveyed more than 1000 people, and found that many couples still decide to get married even when they already have feelings of doom surrounding their relationship. The article outlined these top 11 reasons why people still decide to marry despite having major doubts. Keep reading!
Welcome to Too Much Information Tuesdays!
Today is December 1. I have not worn shorts or a swim suit in quite a few months… Today’s planned leg and bikini waxing will be a major undertaking.
My question is for the guys: Is your wife keeping up with things down there now that it’s cold outside? Is taking a break from upkeep during the winter months ok, or not? Let us know in the comments.
P.S. – Stephanie is not the author of this post, apparently this topic is TMI for her.
